Today I had mixed feelings. Whilst searching for the right spot to play, we crossed a lot of refugees and saw a lot of beggars on streetcorners.
It didn't feel okay to receive money while the begger, a couple of metres away from me, barely received something. I decided after the busk to give him some of mine. He was really thankful about that, so we both felt great afterwards.
The city Calais looks a bit strange. No one seems to really belong there. A city with a lot more citizens than my hometown will ever have, looked very empty.
Tomorrow we're driving to Lille. No camping this time, but an Airbnb. We're really looking forward to this one!
Lots of love,
